POI DANCE I'm wild about POI,which means "Ball" in the Maori language of New Zealand, and is a kind of dance with a ball on the top of a rope. Fire Poi or dances with POI lit by fire is very beauiful and amazing. I have heard we can see a lot of people doing Fire POI Dance in Cairns.
I made my POI to practice it by tying a tennis ball to a rope. Practicing it is a lot of fun! I hope I will master this dance before going back to Japan.
SYDNEY FISH MARKET I went to the Sydney Fish Market which sold wholesale seafood for dealers and is also open to the public. We can get oysters, lobsters, crabs, squid, tuna and so on which is so fresh, and also eat gorgeous seafood lunches very cheaply. After we went around there, we ate oysters, sashimi, sushi and fish and chips with wine. It was very nice!! I bought sea urchin, and had it for dinner with warm rice. It might be the most splendid dinner I have had in Sydney. It was very delicious !!!!!!
PADDINGTONI went to Paddington which has a market only on Saturday.
It's a row of houses along the street which is very fashionable. There were many stalls which had accessories, sundries, clothes and so on and I ate an ice-cream which was sold on the station wagon. It had a sentimental taste which I could remember from my childhood. It was very nice!
A PAPER PLANEI worked at a Print Media company the same as yesterday. After that, I made a paper plane with my friend by using paper which had mistakes from the printing and flew it. PARK NEAR THE CITYI went for a walk in a park which is near the backpacker hostel where I had been staying.I ate some snacks and could relax a lot. I could look at the city from there. It might be my favorite place.
HYDE PARKI napped on the grass in Hyde Park.I might have done it for about an hour. There are some people who were doing the same thing as me.It was lovely and warm there.
BLUE MOUNTAIN I went for three days to the Blue mountains, which is hilly terrain. It has the Three Sisters, which are rocky and made by erosion. The weather in the Blue Mountains changed very quickly, but I'm thinking I was happy because I could observe the landscapes of various weather. It was so majestic! Communing with nature is healing, so I love walking in nature.
