SEE YOU - AUSTRALIA !!!
I’m going to leave Australia tomorrow. I’d been here for one year and half. Time flew quickly. I had a lot of greatful time. At first, my purpose was only to study English, but I saw many different nationality’s people and I knew their cultures, minds and so on – we enjoyed our companies even though we were from different countries - sometimes we enjoyed those diffirence between each other. I suppose I wouldn’t know them forever if I hadn’t lived in Australia. I had a lot of experiences – going language school, traveling, scuba diving, surfing, playing tennis, works for a banana factory and Japanese restaurants and so on. And especially, it was so glad I made a lot of friends here.
I really appreciate their kindness for people who met here and supported for me in Japan. I hope I can turn these experiences to advantage. I have no doubt these memories will become a “special” treasure in my life!!!

CAMPING
I went camping in the mountain. My friend organized everything. I really like camping because I can spend in the nature all night and I love the smell of forest.
We chose near one of the beaches. At the night time, nobody was there - we could get a sort of private place. It was amazing!! We made sandwitchs for lunch and cooked Thai curry for dinner. It was delicious.
We slept in a hammock with looking at stars. I had a great time!

BYRONBAY
I arrived at Byronbay which is the most east edge of Australia. I had heard from my friends it has beautiful beaches, light house and so on. I was looking forward to visiting it.
One of my friends took us light house. On the way to go there, I could see whales – not only one!!! I could distinguish them clearly. I was impressed with them a lot. The light house was also nice.

LISMORE'S MARKET
I went to a market which is hold in Lismore once a month. I like going local markets because I can know local people’s lives.
There were a lot of stalls which were selling cloths, hats, accessories, small articles and so on – they were colorful and had individualities. Also I saw hippies who were wearing rainbow color’s clothes. I drank sugar cane juice which was natural and delicious.
It was such a freedom and peaceful place. I enjoyed a lot.

LISMORE
I moved from Brisbane to Lismore which is near Byronbay and George’s sister lives there.
It took about 4 hours. Its atomosphere was totally different from Brisbane – Lismore was under forest, the air was flesh and the sun was close to there. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place.
After I arrived in Lismore, I went to a shopping mall which was pretty new and had had many shops in. I saw people wearing cloths which were different from ones people were normally wearing in Brisbane – for example, someone was wearing colorful shirt and also colorful hat.
There were many people who had individualities. I felt freedom and I love here!

WITH HOMESTAY FAMILY
I went to my ex-homestay’s house. Before I went back to my home, suddenly I thought I would wanna see homestay’s parents again. It’ll be difficult to do it after I go back to Japan once.
Even though I didn’t call at all before, I received a warm welcome from them. I talked with them about things which I had done after I graduated from school and about my future I’ve thought. When I was living at their house, I couldn’t speak English easily because my English skill wasn’t enough. I was glad to talk with them a lot.
I bless them for their kindness. I’m gonna invite them to my house of Japan someday.

SUVENIORS
I went shopping to buy suveniors of Australia for my relatives and friends. They’ve been giving me a lot of supports while I’m staying here. I’m thanking them a lot.
There’re many suvenior shops on the Queen Street mall, but any goods in there weren’t my Australia’s image. Choosing their suveniors makes me bother always...
Anyway, I bought “Timtam” which is a kind of chocolate - I love it!!! - ,”Vegimate” which is a kind of vegitable paste, a lot of chocolates and some goods... A n d, I’m gonna give them my big smile heartily.

ADVANCED SCUBA DIVING LICENCE
I went to Surfers Paradise to get an advanced scuba diving licence. It was one of my purposes which I came to Australia. I chose this school because I also got an open water diving licence in here and at that time, its instructers were a pretty nice.
I was feeling a little bit scared of it at first because I haven't dived for such a long time, but I got used to doing it soon. I learned how to dive deep waters, tie ropes, take pictures in the water and so on. I'm not sure I could get those skills, but anyway, I got the licence!
I'm gonna go to Bali before I go back to Japan. I could dive Bali's ocean. I'm looking forward to doing it.
